2.18.10

Dear Blogger,
So our tin foil went missing yesterday. I was in desperate need when I made a pita bread sandwich and had nothing to store it in but silly plastic wrap. Everyone knows plastic wrap is silly. Tin foil is so much cooler. Alas, the shiny material was no need to be found. This dramatic exposé plagued our family and interrogations were held accordingly, yielding no result.
Needless to say, I found it today. Turns out my mother was the culprit. The one who was interrogating us, turned out to be the mastermind herself. Crazy world we live in these days kids.
I don't have much to say today besides the fact it was stressful! Work was stressful actually...but luckily God gave me some release to show me His masterful work when I fed the outside horses. As I was driving the gator (and TOTALLY keeping my eyes on the road...) God just let me get lost in His array of stars, the trees danced and the moon made the snow glisten. I'm glad for evenings like these.
After work my boss very kindly drove me to KelLee's, full of laughs, I really needed those today. I also found that I'm a Guinea Pig whisperer. In my mind anyway...d:
Kind of worried, Mandy

P.S. WHY IS MY CONSCIENCE SO STRONG.

2.17.10

Dear Blogger,
Today was just one of those days...I'm generally a happy person, and honestly...I'm still happy, I'm still smiling (: Jesus has given me such strength...and that's one of those things I never cease praying for.
It started off with driving around all day, picking up applications for jobs...which is getting immensely frustrating. I really do need a job. I went to violin, which thankfully we didn't play the piece I was supposed to be practicing. (phew) And the traffic was horrible, especially trying to get out of Sal Val...people need to learn how to use their blinkers.
I went to door-to-door after that and (Thank you Jesus!) I was with Brienna. Some people in my youth group...are so hard to deal with. And I love them, I really do, and sometimes I really hate that I'm so quick to snap at them...it's hard. But I just have to remember Jesus did something 93904839402394 times harder than that for us. And that's what keeps me going.
Unfortunately, no one wanted to hear about Jesus. But as long as we keep at it and spreading His word hopefully we'll plant some type of seed.
Irks of Today:
  • My little sister can pull on my last wire. She is a blamer, and everything is NEVER her fault. And even if it never was, she makes sure you're aware of that. I love her, very much. But sometimes I want to throw her into a pile of yellow snow. I accidentally deleted everything off of our video camera. I apologized, I couldn't do anything about it. She then continued to scream at me, blame me for ruining our memories, and then ordering me to never use the video camera again. I'm sorry I'm not perfect like you little sister.
  • I got a headache from all the stress of today. It's still here reminding me of my impatience.
  • A certain somebody wanted me to do a favor for them today that required a lot of emotional battle. I couldn't handle that, after everything I had been through with this person just to take all of that back...the reality of it was overpowering and I couldn't believe he was even asking me to do so...? Either way, I said no. In a nutshell, he told me I was an extremely unkind and uncompassionate person who wasn't close to Jesus. I was aghast at the accusation but it made me question if I am so? I'm sure if I am that wrong with God He would let me know. Is this the persecution Paul talked about? If it's for my benefit, or if it's not, either way I thank you God for it.
  • My mom got extremely sick with a migraine again. I hate that she get's sick. I loathe it. I want to do evil things to it. Alas, I cannot. I can just pray it goes away forever. So she drove to church to pick us up, and I drove home in the snow...first time for that.
So...that was my day. I'm sorry if you didn't care to read it...but obviously if you did you do care to hear about my book! Woohoo. ಠ_ಠ <--ha.
Dauntingly, Mandy

P.S. I love the beautiful and most encouraging Molly Madeira
P.P.S. This certain boy makes me want to give up sometimes. But I won't (:
P.P.P.S I don't know how unbelievers do it.

2.16.10

Dear Blogger,
Howdy. I'm...kind of tired right now. I got up, did school (the usual..) and then sat around. Yup, I had nothing to do. I tried entertaining myself with talking to people but that got old...no offence to anyone I conversed with of course.
So I fiddled with the piano for quite a while...and SHOOT...I just remembered I haven't practiced my violin in 2 weeks...and my lesson is tomorrow. -_-
Anyway, I went to work at 3 and rushed around and actually got everything done in 2.5 hours. Woohoo! I made it back home in time to jump in the shower, eat some dinner, and scoot off to bible study!
Bible study was a lot of fun, and Julio came! Wow really that cool dude? Yup. Twas fun. I'm always like 10x more laughy around those people and I don't know why! The world is more humorous with them around I suppose *grin*
Short and sweet, Mandy

P.S. We played ninja today, Emily smacked Phil in the face....*LAUGH*
P.P.S Yes, that is the most awesome, cool, most amazing pen in the world. A lizard and his head...that lights up. Jealous much? Thought so.

2.15.10

Dear Blogger,
You may ask, why is there a shoe on my head?
I shall answer, WHY ISN'T THERE A SHOE ON YOUR HEAD?!?! If there isn't, you should go put one on your head right now. That's where a shoe belongs.
So today I did school. *GASP* But Amanda! Today was Presidents day! Why would you do school on a day commemorating dead leaders?! Because children, I am behind. Yes, yes...I know. Terrible. I needed to finish a math test. Which I didn't do to hot on.
Then I went roller skating! Which was kind of sort of awkward...it was fun...but awkward...and there weren't a lot of people there. All in all my feelings on it were....meh.
So today I found Aramanth - Nightwish sheet music. :D And have been playing it non stop. Also, I'm trying to memorize a classical piece...it's not going very well...I wish I was a better memorizer :/
Oh my word Amanda did you make another AwkwardMandy video!?? Well thanks for asking, yes I did actually. It's the stupidest one yet. Enjoy.
By the way...don't you hate that feeling of like...anxiety when you're waiting for something? It can be thrilling, but it also can be so...frustrating! That's how I feel right now. So what did I do to combat that? I drew! (Why am I talking to myself in this blog?! I don't know!) Yeah...it was fun, I haven't sat down and drawn in a while, therefore I did. And I must say I'm a horrible artist. I'm not kidding, everything is crazy and weird.
Also, I journaled. This can prove to me quite the task, especially considering I have 3 journals and this blog. My life seems to be updated in so many ways, it's a wonder anyone actually reads this!
Random Fact of The Day: I watch the bachelor. Like every season...ALWAYS. And Joshfa watches it too :D That makes me happy. Stay proud Joshfa.

Most impatiently, Mandy

Dear Blogger,
I'm mad at blogger right now.
Livid.
So this might be shorter than I thought it would be.
Besides the fact I'm skyping with Julio...and skyping always distractsss meee...
We took my mom out to Olive Garden today for valentines day! It was quite enjoyable (:
Church was good!
And I'm way to distracted to write this!
In short, God is amazing. And he provides money for me (:
Confused, Mandy
P.S. I got like the biggest compliment of my life today. And some interesting speculation. *raises eyebrow*

2.13.10

Dear Blogger,
I was having a good day today, and I had to photograph it at its best angle before trashing it in the snow. Which is why I'm doing the profile look here...heh.
Howdy! Today was a pretty good day overall (: I don't have a splitting headache this time, just a little one, so write I shall!
KelLee was supposed to come over for piano lessons today, but she bailed to go to NJ! Whoa! Random, yes, I know.
So I waited around for a while and then headed to Drew's. We were supposed to have about 5 girls and 5 guys there to play around in the snow. And this would happen to me. I was the only girl. Which actually, I really don't mind. Guys are usually a lot more fun to hang out with. No drama. And most of the time they don't need to be entertained 24/7. It's chill. We built a bobsled run, fail, and then once Ben arrived we started digging holes to make an intricate tunnels system. Of course this only lasted about an hour and a half of attaching all our tunnels before we gave up and went inside for some warm oatmeal. Mmm. Julio then arrived and we watched a movie called Fido. I honestly will never be able to get this movie out of my mind. It was so.....horribly....awful....yeah. Weirdest zombie movie I have ever seen. Well...only zombie movie I've ever seen...either way, I got a strange impression for zombie movies! "Old people can't be trusted..." <--just a little line of the weirdness... We ended up going back outside and having some crazy snow muffin battles and then tried to do crazy stunts off the trampoline into the snow. So, I'm pretty amazing at doing backflips into the snow....psych....
Alright so before I left I ran inside and me Julio and Dillon grabbed a quick group shot haha.
Julio and I look like we're 5 but hey! Dillon looks like he's old (;
Over all, fun day (:
Creatively, Mandy
P.S. I hung all my pictures from photography camp around my door today...I could spend
forever in a Darkroom...I miss it.
